Today we drive into the heart of the beautiful New Forest to visit the stunning Beaulieu estate, home of the world-famous National Motor Museum. See over 250 vehicles in one of the finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world, from the earliest motor carriages to classic family saloons and F1 cars to incredible examples of pioneering motoring. Impressive Palace House was the home of the Montagu family and costumed guides will show you how the family lived here in Victorian times, with displays of family treasures, portraits and memorabilia.
Outside the fabulous flower gardens, including fragrant rose garden, mill-pond walk and topiary are waiting to be admired. Explore the ruins of the vast medieval abbey with an exhibition on its monastic history. There is also a Secret Army exhibition and you can visit the sites on an open top veteran bus or the high level sky train/monorail.
