We make our way southwards to Kent to visit Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. This enchanting crenellated castle boasts imposing towers and turrets with 2 surrounding moats. Discover its long history as you explore the medieval panelled rooms which house fine furniture, tapestries, antiques and one of the best collections of Tudor portraits in England.
The extensive gardens boast a spectacular spring bulb display as well as many water features, Tudor and Italian gardens with sculptures and a magnificent lake. Restaurants, café and kiosks for lunch refreshments and gift shops. We enjoy tea/coffee on arrival at our hotel whilst the luggage is transferred to the rooms in time for dinner.
