This morning we visit the hidden gem of Felbrigg Hall – an elegant 17th C country house with opulent Georgian interiors which have been untouched since Jacobean times. You can explore the gorgeous walled gardens and parkland with lake, as well as the allotments which supply the house, café and shop.
Afterwards we go to Cromer on the Norfolk coast. It’s long golden sandy beach is dominated by its Victorian wrought-iron pier with lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre, the UK’s only remaining traditional end of pier variety show. There is a lifeboat museum and also Cromer museum. You can wander the streets and alleys to discover eateries offering the famous Cromer crab and other local delicacies.
The Hillside Shire Horse Santuary is also this afternoon. Home for the gentle giant Shire horses as well as a sanctuary for rescued animals you can explore the Farming Bygones museum, shop and café.
